MK-053 | Launch-price and early-bird-price questionnaire
For a regular chat, upload packs/mk-053.md. It includes the shared rules, this method, and required references
Purpose
This skill delivers: Questions measuring acceptance of two offers
Without raw survey responses, produce only a questionnaire or analysis plan; do not fabricate answers
Required inputs
Provide: Respondents, actual product/bundle, launch and early-bird prices and conditions, scale preference; costs and brand floor for feasibility, not existing responses as a prerequisite for question design
Method
- A simplified price questionnaire first explains the product/bundle characteristics fully, then asks about acceptance of the planned launch price and early-bird launch price
- The course example first requires the planned launch price to maintain a higher contribution margin ratio and the early-bird price to retain a floor ratio, then tests acceptance
- The survey can use a 1–7-star acceptance scale, but actual prices and bundles must come from real cost planning
Calculations and interpretation
Check sampling, valid responses, and the ordering of price questions; willingness to pay is neither actual purchasing nor a profit guarantee
Required output fields

English translation of source excerpt:
Van Westendorp's PSM (Price Sensitivity Measurement) fundamentally asks about the target consumer's acceptance of a price. It asks not only whether a price is expensive or cheap, but also which price is "too cheap"
