Use when a LIVE campaign needs a new asset the same day — creative fatigue, CTR decay, climbing frequency, or a new angle to test: stripped-down input, duplicate the winning creative and change only what is listed, a one-page template, and a hard SLA so the designer ships in 2-4 hours. Trigger on 'quick brief', 'need an asset fast', 'creative fatigue', 'swap the creative today', 'frequency is too high', 'the ad is dying and we need a new one'. Not for — planning assets before launch, see `41-campaign-asset-list-global`; a full concept brief with time to spare, see `42-image-brief-global`; resizing an existing master, see `50-asset-resize-global`; raising budget on a winner, see `55-scaling-ads-global`.

  • Markdown instructions

A SKILL.md file the model loads on demand, so it only costs tokens when a request actually matches.

  • Works with any LLM

AI skills are plain Markdown, not provider-specific code, so this works with GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model.

  • Self-contained

Everything the model needs lives in the instructions — no extra files to sync.

  • Open source

Published by minhnv0807 on GitHub. Read the source before you install it.

Installation

Install the 48 Quick Visual Brief Global AI skill in TypingMind to use it with any LLM, or drop it into another agent that reads SKILL.md.

1

Install in TypingMind

TypingMind installs a skill straight from its GitHub folder — it reads SKILL.md, bundles the resource files, and stores the result locally.

  1. Open the app and go to Plugins → Skills.
  2. Choose "Install from GitHub".
  3. Paste the skill folder URL below and confirm.
    https://github.com/minhnv0807/ai-business-skills/tree/master/skills/en/48-quick-visual-brief-global
  4. Enable the skill in any chat where you want it available.
Plugins → Skills → Add skill → From GitHub URL, then paste the folder URL and press Continue.
2

Install in another agent

Any agent that reads the Agent Skills format can use this skill — copy the folder into that agent's skills directory.

Claude Code — .claude/skills
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/minhnv0807/ai-business-skills.git /tmp/ai-business-skills
mkdir -p .claude/skills
cp -r /tmp/ai-business-skills/skills/en/48-quick-visual-brief-global .claude/skills/48-quick-visual-brief-global
Restart Claude Code after copying so it picks up the new skill.

Use it in TypingMind

Enable 48 Quick Visual Brief Global in any TypingMind chat and the model takes it from there. Its name and description sit in the system prompt, and the moment a request matches, the model loads the full instructions itself — you never invoke it by hand, and it costs no tokens until it is actually used.

The model loads 48 Quick Visual Brief Global on its own as soon as a request matches it.

Works with any AI model

AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so 48 Quick Visual Brief Global is not tied to the model it was written for. Install it once in TypingMind and use it with GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama, or a local model you run yourself — all on your own API keys.

  • Loaded only when it is needed

The system prompt carries just the name and description. The instructions are fetched on the first matching request, so an idle skill costs nothing.

  • Switch models mid-chat

Because the skill is instructions rather than code, changing model does not break it — the next model reads the same SKILL.md.

Skill instructions

This is the SKILL.md content the model loads. Read it before installing — a skill is instructions your model will follow.

Quick Visual Brief (Global)

Use this when a campaign is live and an asset is needed urgently: speed beats perfection. A variant running in four hours beats a perfect asset delivered in two days. The brief needs to be enough to build, not enough to be beautiful.

Information gathering

Ask once, in a single message, up to 4 questions:

  1. What asset and what size? Static, carousel, or story — for which channel?
  2. Which creative is the base? The highest-CTR creative currently running (file or share link). If unknown, pull the data from 21-ads-audit-global.
  3. What is the new angle or message? What changes versus the running creative? Is the copy written or does it need writing now?
  4. Deadline? The exact hour it must be delivered — hard, not flexible.

Principles

  1. Duplicate, do not create. Find the creative that works and change one element. Cloning a winner is faster than inventing.
  2. One main change per variant — not five at once, so the data still explains why it won or lost.
  3. Brief only what is DIFFERENT from the base creative. Everything else stays.
  4. The deadline is hard. If it will slip, say so immediately — silence is not an option.
  5. The lead or media buyer commits to feedback within 30 minutes of submission. No feedback within one hour counts as approved.
  6. Fast approval checks three things only: right message, right size, CTA present.

Workflow

1. Identify the base (5 minutes)

Which live creative has the highest CTR? That is the base. Get the link to the source file (Canva, Figma, Adobe Express) — always duplicate the source, never an exported file.

2. Write the one-page quick brief (15-30 minutes)

Use the template below. Fill in only the "specific changes" table — everything else inherits from the base.

3. Designer builds in 2-4 hours

Duplicate the base, change exactly the listed elements, export at the stated sizes, submit.

4. Review in 30 minutes on 3 points

Right message? Right size? CTA present? If yes, push it live. No feedback within one hour means the designer treats it as approved and submits the final file.

Triggers that justify a quick brief

SignalTypical thresholdAction
CTR decayDown 25-30% or more from the creative's own first-week baselineNew variant on the same offer, new hook
Frequency climbingAbove roughly 2.5-3.0 in a 7-day window on a prospecting setRefresh the creative, not the audience
CPA drifting upMaterially above the campaign's own target, with stable CVRTest a new angle before touching bids
A new angle worth testingAny time a hypothesis emerges from comments or support ticketsOne variable changed, per 19-ab-test-setup-global

Use the account's own trailing baseline as the reference, not an external benchmark — decay is relative to how the creative started.

Quality checklist

  • A concrete base exists (link to the winning creative's source file)
  • Exactly one main change — every other element stays
  • The change table states current versus new
  • The deadline names an hour, and the designer has confirmed it is achievable
  • Sizes, format, and submission location are stated
  • One or two sentences of context so the designer knows why it is urgent
  • The 30-minute review SLA is committed by the approver
  • After the variant runs, its result (win/lose) is recorded in the asset list

Why use 48 Quick Visual Brief Global on TypingMind?

Because you install it once and use it with any model. 48 Quick Visual Brief Global is plain Markdown rather than provider-specific code, so the same skill runs on GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model — and you can switch model mid-chat without it breaking. TypingMind runs on your own API keys, so you pay providers directly instead of a per-seat subscription, and your skills and chats stay in your own storage.

How do I install 48 Quick Visual Brief Global in TypingMind?

Open Plugins → Skills → Install from GitHub in TypingMind and paste https://github.com/minhnv0807/ai-business-skills/tree/master/skills/en/48-quick-visual-brief-global. TypingMind reads its SKILL.md and installs it as a skill you can enable per chat.

Which AI models can use 48 Quick Visual Brief Global?

Any model you connect in TypingMind. AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and local models can all load this skill when a request matches it.

How many AI models can I use with 48 Quick Visual Brief Global?

As many as you like. As long as a model supports skills, you can use 48 Quick Visual Brief Global with it — GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama and more — all on TypingMind with your own API keys.

Is the 48 Quick Visual Brief Global AI skill free?

Yes. It is published on GitHub by minhnv0807 under the MIT license. You only pay your own AI provider for the tokens you use.

What are AI skills?

An AI skill is a reusable instruction bundle that teaches an AI model how to do one specific task. It follows the open Agent Skills format: a SKILL.md file with a name and description, plus any scripts, templates or reference files the model may need. The model reads the instructions only when your request matches the skill, so an installed skill costs nothing until it is used.

How are AI skills different from plugins or MCP servers?

A plugin or MCP server gives a model new tools to call — code that runs somewhere and returns a result. An AI skill gives the model knowledge and process instead: how to approach a task, which steps to follow, what good output looks like. Skills are plain Markdown, so they need no server, no API key and no runtime, and they work with any model.
