Plans and generates the images and video clips an animated website needs with AI image and video models, without wasting money. Covers proposing the concept and asset list with exact prompts and costs before spending, keeping one style across every asset, start and end frames for clips that chain or loop, choosing a model by what it can do, calibrating cost, staying under rate limits, recovering failed jobs, fixing loops and outpaints, and logging every prompt so the project can be rebuilt. Use whenever a site needs generated heroes, characters, product shots, textures, background loops or camera-move clips, or when someone says "use Higgsfield", "use Runway", "use Kling", "use Veo", "generate the assets" or "animate this image".

  • Markdown instructions

A SKILL.md file the model loads on demand, so it only costs tokens when a request actually matches.

  • Works with any LLM

AI skills are plain Markdown, not provider-specific code, so this works with GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model.

  • 3 bundled files

Scripts, templates, and references the model can read while it works. Files are read-only and never executed.

  • Open source

Published by Moh4696 on GitHub. Read the source before you install it.

Installation

Install the Motion Assets AI skill in TypingMind to use it with any LLM, or drop it into another agent that reads SKILL.md.

1

Install in TypingMind

TypingMind installs a skill straight from its GitHub folder — it reads SKILL.md, bundles the resource files, and stores the result locally.

  1. Open the app and go to Plugins → Skills.
  2. Choose "Install from GitHub".
  3. Paste the skill folder URL below and confirm.
    https://github.com/Moh4696/open-3d-skills/tree/main/skills/motion-assets
  4. Enable the skill in any chat where you want it available.
Plugins → Skills → Add skill → From GitHub URL, then paste the folder URL and press Continue.
2

Install in another agent

Any agent that reads the Agent Skills format can use this skill — copy the folder into that agent's skills directory.

Claude Code — .claude/skills
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/Moh4696/open-3d-skills.git /tmp/open-3d-skills
mkdir -p .claude/skills
cp -r /tmp/open-3d-skills/skills/motion-assets .claude/skills/motion-assets
Restart Claude Code after copying so it picks up the new skill.

Use it in TypingMind

Enable Motion Assets in any TypingMind chat and the model takes it from there. Its name and description sit in the system prompt, and the moment a request matches, the model loads the full instructions itself — you never invoke it by hand, and it costs no tokens until it is actually used.

The model loads Motion Assets on its own as soon as a request matches it.

Works with any AI model

AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so Motion Assets is not tied to the model it was written for. Install it once in TypingMind and use it with GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama, or a local model you run yourself — all on your own API keys.

  • Loaded only when it is needed

The system prompt carries just the name and description. The instructions are fetched on the first matching request, so an idle skill costs nothing.

  • Switch models mid-chat

Because the skill is instructions rather than code, changing model does not break it — the next model reads the same SKILL.md.

Skill instructions

This is the SKILL.md content the model loads. Read it before installing — a skill is instructions your model will follow.

Motion assets

Generated assets make or break an animated site, and they cost real money per attempt. This skill is the production discipline around the models: decide everything that can be decided before spending, make every asset in one look, generate in the order that lets later assets anchor on earlier ones, check each one with numbers, and write it all down.

Tools

ScriptWhat it does
scripts/loop_check.pyScores how well a clip loops, finds the best loop point, trims and cross-fades it
scripts/paste_back.pyPuts the original pixels back into an outpainted image (outpainting re-renders the middle too)

Related: alpha-cutout (clips that need transparency), scroll-film (prep.py seams scores joins between chained clips), cursor-rig (head-turn clips).

Needs Python 3.9+, pip install numpy opencv-python-headless, ffmpeg.

Before spending anything

Write a short plan and show it to the person paying:

  1. The concept in two sentences, and what moves on the page.
  2. The asset list: every image and clip, its size and aspect, its role on the page, and its exact prompt.
  3. The model for each, chosen by capability (table below), and the cost of each and in total. Calibrate first: run one still and one short clip, read what was charged, then estimate the rest from that. Plans and prices change; never quote a price from memory.
  4. What the visitor sees with reduced motion and on a phone.

Get a yes, then generate.

Choose models by capability

You needThe model must supportNotes
A clip that ends on a planned frameStart frame and end frameEssential for chained scroll films, head turns and loops
A seamless loopStart = end frameThen check with loop_check.py; models rarely land exactly
A pose or expression change on the same characterImage editing that holds framingCompare to the source at full size: only the edited part may change
A transparent subjectNothing special: shoot on a key plateSee alpha-cutout. A few image models return real alpha; video models do not
Wider artworkOutpaintingIt re-renders the original area: paste it back (paste_back.py)
SharpnessNative resolutionNever upscale a clip and call it 1080p; encode what the model returned

Observed while building with these models in 2026 (check current docs; behaviour changes):

  • Video models drift a flat background colour within a single clip (pure magenta came back pale pink); key per frame.
  • Models change small details mid-clip (a black cap turned green late in a serve). Watch the whole clip, not the first and last frames.
  • Some higher resolutions and quality modes are gated by subscription plan. A rejected submission usually costs nothing: test the cheapest request that proves access.
  • Rate limits are tight on many plans: two or three video jobs in flight. Submit in small batches and resubmit only the job that returned 429 once others finish.
  • A "server not responding" error does not always mean no job was created. List recent jobs before resubmitting, or you pay twice.
  • A request can come back as a suggested preset instead of a job; decline the preset and resubmit.

One look across every asset

  • Write a style preamble (medium, palette, light, lens, texture) once and prepend it byte-for-byte to every image prompt.
  • Make one hero still first, approve it, then pass it as the style reference to every later image.
  • Use one video model for a whole chain of clips. Each model has its own motion, colour and grain; switching mid-film shows as a style jump at the seam.

Generation order

  1. Stills: hero, then keyframes (every start and end frame of every clip), then supporting images. Review them side by side before any video.
  2. Clips, each anchored on approved stills. For chains, anchor each clip's start on the exact extracted last frame of the previous clip, not on the still, so colour drift does not accumulate as a jump.
  3. Check every clip: loop_check.py for loops, scroll-film/scripts/prep.py seams for chains, the whole clip by eye for detail drift.

Clip prompts that behave:

  • Name the camera: "locked-off camera" or the exact move ("slow push in, no rotation").
  • Name what must not move: "the body, background and lighting stay perfectly still".
  • For loops: "constant, even motion; no slowing down at the end". Models ease to a stop by default, which hitches every loop. loop_check.py reports it.
  • Repeat the plate colour for anything that will be keyed.

Fixing instead of regenerating

ProblemFix
Loop jumps slightlyloop_check.py clip.mp4 --fix loop.mp4 cuts at the best loop point; add --blend 6 to cross-fade small drift
Loop jumps a lot (over ~8)Regenerate with start = end frame and the constant-motion wording
Outpaint softened the subjectpaste_back.py original.png extended.png out.png
Seam between chained clipsRegenerate the later clip from the extracted last frame of the earlier one
One detail changes colour mid-clipRecolour that hue in post if it is isolated; otherwise regenerate

Log everything

Every generation goes in prompts/asset-prompts.md (and machine-readable in a JSONL log): the asset name, model, exact prompt, input images, settings, job id, cost, and which output was kept. It is the only way to regenerate one asset months later in the same style, and the honest record of what was AI-generated.

Bundled files

The model reads these on demand while the skill is loaded. They are exposed as readable files and are never executed.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Motion Assets AI skill do?

Why use Motion Assets on TypingMind?

Because you install it once and use it with any model. Motion Assets is plain Markdown rather than provider-specific code, so the same skill runs on GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model — and you can switch model mid-chat without it breaking. TypingMind runs on your own API keys, so you pay providers directly instead of a per-seat subscription, and your skills and chats stay in your own storage.

How do I install Motion Assets in TypingMind?

Open Plugins → Skills → Install from GitHub in TypingMind and paste https://github.com/Moh4696/open-3d-skills/tree/main/skills/motion-assets. TypingMind reads its SKILL.md and bundles its files and installs it as a skill you can enable per chat.

Which AI models can use Motion Assets?

Any model you connect in TypingMind. AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and local models can all load this skill when a request matches it.

How many AI models can I use with Motion Assets?

As many as you like. As long as a model supports skills, you can use Motion Assets with it — GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama and more — all on TypingMind with your own API keys.

Is the Motion Assets AI skill free?

Yes. It is published on GitHub by Moh4696 under the MIT license. You only pay your own AI provider for the tokens you use.

What are AI skills?

An AI skill is a reusable instruction bundle that teaches an AI model how to do one specific task. It follows the open Agent Skills format: a SKILL.md file with a name and description, plus any scripts, templates or reference files the model may need. The model reads the instructions only when your request matches the skill, so an installed skill costs nothing until it is used.

How are AI skills different from plugins or MCP servers?

A plugin or MCP server gives a model new tools to call — code that runs somewhere and returns a result. An AI skill gives the model knowledge and process instead: how to approach a task, which steps to follow, what good output looks like. Skills are plain Markdown, so they need no server, no API key and no runtime, and they work with any model.
