Decide what a launch, landing or product page must say and prove before any design or motion work. Use for a landing page, launch page, waitlist, pricing page copy or conversion brief, including requests about a headline, call to action, objections, proof or "what should the page say". Establish the audience, offer, traffic context and credible evidence, then deliver a story brief for cinematic-scroll. Use for new pages or message revisions, without prescribing a visual style or inventing business facts.

  • Markdown instructions

A SKILL.md file the model loads on demand, so it only costs tokens when a request actually matches.

  • Works with any LLM

AI skills are plain Markdown, not provider-specific code, so this works with GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model.

  • 2 bundled files

Scripts, templates, and references the model can read while it works. Files are read-only and never executed.

  • Open source

Published by MustBeSimo on GitHub. Read the source before you install it.

Installation

Install the Launch Page Strategy AI skill in TypingMind to use it with any LLM, or drop it into another agent that reads SKILL.md.

1

Install in TypingMind

TypingMind installs a skill straight from its GitHub folder — it reads SKILL.md, bundles the resource files, and stores the result locally.

  1. Open the app and go to Plugins → Skills.
  2. Choose "Install from GitHub".
  3. Paste the skill folder URL below and confirm.
    https://github.com/MustBeSimo/web-design-studio/tree/main/skills/launch-page-strategy
  4. Enable the skill in any chat where you want it available.
Plugins → Skills → Add skill → From GitHub URL, then paste the folder URL and press Continue.
2

Install in another agent

Any agent that reads the Agent Skills format can use this skill — copy the folder into that agent's skills directory.

Claude Code — .claude/skills
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/MustBeSimo/web-design-studio.git /tmp/web-design-studio
mkdir -p .claude/skills
cp -r /tmp/web-design-studio/skills/launch-page-strategy .claude/skills/launch-page-strategy
Restart Claude Code after copying so it picks up the new skill.

Use it in TypingMind

Enable Launch Page Strategy in any TypingMind chat and the model takes it from there. Its name and description sit in the system prompt, and the moment a request matches, the model loads the full instructions itself — you never invoke it by hand, and it costs no tokens until it is actually used.

The model loads Launch Page Strategy on its own as soon as a request matches it.

Works with any AI model

AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so Launch Page Strategy is not tied to the model it was written for. Install it once in TypingMind and use it with GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama, or a local model you run yourself — all on your own API keys.

  • Loaded only when it is needed

The system prompt carries just the name and description. The instructions are fetched on the first matching request, so an idle skill costs nothing.

  • Switch models mid-chat

Because the skill is instructions rather than code, changing model does not break it — the next model reads the same SKILL.md.

Skill instructions

This is the SKILL.md content the model loads. Read it before installing — a skill is instructions your model will follow.

Launch page strategy

Decide what the visitor needs to understand, believe and do. This Web Design Studio skill produces the story brief that directs the page. Strategy first, then design, then motion. Do not begin a layout or animation merely to discover what to say.

When this fires

  • A launch, landing, product or waitlist page needs a clear argument.
  • The user wants to improve a headline, call to action or pricing page copy.
  • A conversion review finds competing actions, unanswered objections or weak proof.
  • The user asks what the page should say before asking how it should look.

A visual repair with settled copy does not need a new strategy brief. Keep supplied content and the requested scope intact.

Establish the inputs

Read the project brief, existing page, supplied copy and available proof. Identify one audience, one offer and one primary action. Competing actions above the fold are a defect: choose the intended next step and explain where secondary navigation belongs without removing necessary access or legal information.

Ask only for missing information, in one batch. Prioritise the intended action, traffic source, offer details and evidence that would change the message. Continue with clearly stated, reversible assumptions where possible. Do not stall the build for preferences already established by the project. Never turn an assumption into a customer fact or a promise.

Separate known facts, proposed wording and unresolved inputs in the brief. If a material fact is missing, leave it explicitly unresolved and complete the parts that do not depend on it.

Preserve truth and identity

Never invent claims, numbers, customer names, logos, testimonials, guarantees or prices. Use only proof whose source and permission to use are established by the project. Keep supplied copy verbatim unless rewriting is requested, including capitalisation, product names and legal lines. Put proposed alternatives beside the original when a rewrite is in scope.

The brand decides voice, casing and the visual system. This skill sets no font, colour, spacing or motion values. Do not turn a page shape into a universal style.

Use a verified number, timeframe or named outcome instead of a vague benefit when the evidence supports it. Specificity is a reason to ask for a source, not to make up a persuasive figure. Without a supported metric, describe the observable task or result plainly.

Build the argument

Match the arrival promise

Record the traffic source and what the visitor already believes. The headline or promise they clicked must be the promise they find on arrival. Keep the offer and conditions consistent across that handoff. Flag a mismatch rather than compensating for it with stronger unsupported copy.

Choose the action and offer

State the offer in one sentence and the action as a verb plus its outcome. Clarify what happens after the click and any supplied commitment, eligibility or cost. A pricing page may compare options while keeping one primary decision clear. Do not invent plan features or terms to make the options look complete.

Put proof beside its claim

Pair each factual claim with its supporting demonstration, source, specification, result or approved quotation. Place that pair in the same reading beat. Do not collect unrelated proof at the bottom and expect it to justify earlier assertions. Name evidence gaps and remove unsupported claims from proposed publishable copy.

Answer objections in order

Identify the top three objections, or mark an unknown rather than fabricating one. Give each objection a section that answers it with available evidence. Order those sections by the questions visitors encounter: understanding the offer, believing it can help, and deciding whether the next step is acceptable may require different orders for different traffic. Do not bury a decisive condition in an FAQ.

State the actual risk reversal

Use an existing trial, cancellation term, guarantee or other documented commitment only when supplied. Preserve its conditions. If none exists, record "none supplied" and clarify what the next step entails. Do not manufacture a guarantee.

Choose the page shape

Read page shapes. Select proof-first, education-first, single-action or comparison and give a reason tied to the visitor. Keep only sections that advance the decision. Set an observable acceptance check for the brief and identify any later outcome measurement separately. A sensible outline is not evidence that conversion will improve.

Decide search intent

Choose noindex for time-bound offers or ad-only pages. Choose index for evergreen offers that answer a lasting search intent, with a title, description and a plain-language FAQ using supported answers. Record the decision and reason in the brief. Mark the indexing directive as an implementation requirement; hiding a link does not establish that a page is excluded from indexing.

Output and handoff

Write story-brief.md using the story brief template. Include the audience, primary action, offer, traffic context, objections, adjacent proof, risk reversal, page shape, indexing decision, hero message and reading-order beats. Record exact copy and brand constraints that the builder must preserve.

Return the brief's location, the chosen page shape and any unresolved facts. The deliverable is the story brief, handed to cinematic-scroll for design and motion if that skill is installed and implementation is requested. Otherwise, leave a complete brief that another builder can use. Strategy first, then design, then motion. The brief does not authorise publication, invented proof or a claim of improved conversion.

Bundled files

The model reads these on demand while the skill is loaded. They are exposed as readable files and are never executed.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Launch Page Strategy AI skill do?

Why use Launch Page Strategy on TypingMind?

Because you install it once and use it with any model. Launch Page Strategy is plain Markdown rather than provider-specific code, so the same skill runs on GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model — and you can switch model mid-chat without it breaking. TypingMind runs on your own API keys, so you pay providers directly instead of a per-seat subscription, and your skills and chats stay in your own storage.

How do I install Launch Page Strategy in TypingMind?

Open Plugins → Skills → Install from GitHub in TypingMind and paste https://github.com/MustBeSimo/web-design-studio/tree/main/skills/launch-page-strategy. TypingMind reads its SKILL.md and bundles its files and installs it as a skill you can enable per chat.

Which AI models can use Launch Page Strategy?

Any model you connect in TypingMind. AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and local models can all load this skill when a request matches it.

How many AI models can I use with Launch Page Strategy?

As many as you like. As long as a model supports skills, you can use Launch Page Strategy with it — GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama and more — all on TypingMind with your own API keys.

Is the Launch Page Strategy AI skill free?

Yes. It is published on GitHub by MustBeSimo under the MIT license. You only pay your own AI provider for the tokens you use.

What are AI skills?

An AI skill is a reusable instruction bundle that teaches an AI model how to do one specific task. It follows the open Agent Skills format: a SKILL.md file with a name and description, plus any scripts, templates or reference files the model may need. The model reads the instructions only when your request matches the skill, so an installed skill costs nothing until it is used.

How are AI skills different from plugins or MCP servers?

A plugin or MCP server gives a model new tools to call — code that runs somewhere and returns a result. An AI skill gives the model knowledge and process instead: how to approach a task, which steps to follow, what good output looks like. Skills are plain Markdown, so they need no server, no API key and no runtime, and they work with any model.
