  • Markdown instructions

    A SKILL.md file the model loads on demand, so it only costs tokens when a request actually matches.

  • Works with any LLM

    AI skills are plain Markdown, not provider-specific code, so this works with GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model.

  • Self-contained

    Everything the model needs lives in the instructions — no extra files to sync.

  • Open source

    Published by roedyrustam on GitHub. Read the source before you install it.

Installation

Install the Ai Code Review Autonomous AI skill in TypingMind to use it with any LLM, or drop it into another agent that reads SKILL.md.

1

Install in TypingMind

TypingMind installs a skill straight from its GitHub folder — it reads SKILL.md, bundles the resource files, and stores the result locally.

  1. Open the app and go to Plugins → Skills.
  2. Choose "Install from GitHub".
  3. Paste the skill folder URL below and confirm.
    https://github.com/roedyrustam/vibes-plug/tree/main/skills/ai-code-review-autonomous
  4. Enable the skill in any chat where you want it available.
Plugins → Skills → Add skill → From GitHub URL, then paste the folder URL and press Continue.
2

Install in another agent

Any agent that reads the Agent Skills format can use this skill — copy the folder into that agent's skills directory.

Claude Code — .claude/skills
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/roedyrustam/vibes-plug.git /tmp/vibes-plug
mkdir -p .claude/skills
cp -r /tmp/vibes-plug/skills/ai-code-review-autonomous .claude/skills/ai-code-review-autonomous
Restart Claude Code after copying so it picks up the new skill.

Use it in TypingMind

Enable Ai Code Review Autonomous in any TypingMind chat and the model takes it from there. Its name and description sit in the system prompt, and the moment a request matches, the model loads the full instructions itself — you never invoke it by hand, and it costs no tokens until it is actually used.

The model loads Ai Code Review Autonomous on its own as soon as a request matches it.

Works with any AI model

AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so Ai Code Review Autonomous is not tied to the model it was written for. Install it once in TypingMind and use it with GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama, or a local model you run yourself — all on your own API keys.

  • Loaded only when it is needed

    The system prompt carries just the name and description. The instructions are fetched on the first matching request, so an idle skill costs nothing.

  • Switch models mid-chat

    Because the skill is instructions rather than code, changing model does not break it — the next model reads the same SKILL.md.

Skill instructions

This is the SKILL.md content the model loads. Read it before installing — a skill is instructions your model will follow.

Orchestration & Integration

  • Anti-Slop & Quality Gates: anti-slop, coderabbit, zero-tech-debt-auditor
  • TDD & Automated Debugging: autonomous-tdd-debugger, property-mutation-testing-expert, formal-spec-z3-verifier
  • Security & Red Teaming: autonomous-red-teamer, prompt-injection-firewall
  • Architecture & Clean Code: scalability-clean-code, living-codebase-ast-graph, typescript-expert
  • Lifecycle & Governance: brainstorming, zero-to-prod-orchestrator, production-ready-hardener

Description

A structured multi-pass self-review protocol that the AI agent executes on its own generated code before presenting it to the user. Each pass focuses on a distinct quality dimension — syntax correctness, business logic validation, architectural conformance, security vulnerabilities, and performance characteristics. This eliminates the most common AI code generation failure: confidently presenting broken or insecure code because the model never re-read what it wrote.

Trigger Conditions

Activate this skill when:

  • Generating any code that will be written to files (not just shown in conversation).
  • Making changes to critical paths: authentication, payment, data mutation, or API endpoints.
  • Producing code that spans multiple files or requires cross-file consistency.
  • The generated code exceeds 50 lines and involves non-trivial logic.
  • Before finalizing any PR-ready code or phase completion in zero-to-prod-orchestrator.

Core Concepts & Patterns

  REVIEWED CODE → Present to User
2. Self-Review Prompt Template

After generating code, the agent internally executes this checklist:

SELF-REVIEW CHECKLIST for [filename]:

PASS 1 — SYNTAX:
□ All imports resolve to real modules/packages that exist in the project
□ TypeScript types are correct — no `any` unless explicitly justified
□ All brackets, parentheses, and JSX tags are balanced
□ No unreachable code after return/throw statements

PASS 2 — LOGIC:
□ Function handles null/undefined inputs gracefully
□ Array operations handle empty arrays
□ Async functions are properly awaited at call sites
□ Error paths return meaningful error messages, not silent failures
□ Loop/index boundaries are correct (no off-by-one)

PASS 3 — ARCHITECTURE:
□ New code uses existing project utilities (not reimplementing)
□ File location follows project's directory convention
□ Naming follows project's established patterns
□ No circular imports introduced
□ Single Responsibility Principle maintained

PASS 4 — SECURITY:
□ User input is validated/sanitized before use
□ Database queries use parameterized statements
□ API endpoints check authentication and authorization
□ No secrets, keys, or tokens in source code
□ CORS and CSP headers are correctly configured

PASS 5 — PERFORMANCE:
□ Database queries avoid N+1 patterns (use joins/includes)
□ List endpoints have pagination
□ React components are memoized where appropriate
□ No unbounded memory growth patterns
□ Event listeners are cleaned up on unmount
3. Cross-File Consistency Verification

When changes span multiple files, verify:

typescript
interface CrossFileCheck {
  importConsistency: boolean; // Do all imports reference the correct export names?
  typeContractAlignment: boolean; // Do function signatures match their call sites?
  schemaSync: boolean; // Do DB schema changes propagate to ORM models and API types?
  routeRegistration: boolean; // Are new routes registered in the router?
  envVarRegistration: boolean; // Are new env vars documented in .env.example?
}
4. Severity Classification
SeverityDefinitionAction
P0 — BlockerCode won't compile, runtime crash, data loss, security vulnerabilityFix immediately before presenting
P1 — CriticalLogic error in core business path, missing error handlingFix before presenting
P2 — MajorArchitectural violation, performance regression, accessibility gapFlag and fix in same turn
P3 — MinorStyle inconsistency, suboptimal pattern, missing commentFix silently without flagging

Best Practices

  1. Review Before Writing to File: Never write generated code to disk without completing at least Passes 1-2. For production code, complete all 5 passes.
  2. Re-Read What You Wrote: After writing code, re-read the file content to verify the write was correct and complete.
  3. Check Import Validity: The most common AI hallucination is importing modules, functions, or types that don't exist.
  4. Verify Cross-File Contracts: When modifying interfaces, types, or schemas, check all consuming files for breakage.
  5. Admit Uncertainty: If you're unsure about a logic path, explicitly state it rather than generating speculative code.

Common Pitfalls to Avoid

Anti-PatternConsequenceRemedy
Skipping self-review for "simple" changesSimple changes cause cascading failuresEvery change gets at least Pass 1-2
Phantom imports (hallucinated module names)Runtime ModuleNotFoundErrorVerify every import exists in project
Missing await on async callsSilent data corruption or race conditionsTrace every async call chain
Assuming happy path onlyCrashes on null/empty/error inputsExplicitly handle edge cases

Diff Hunk Risk Scorer & Review Gate (TypeScript)
typescript
export interface DiffHunkAudit {
  filePath: string;
  addedLines: string[];
  riskScore: number;
  blockingReasons: string[];
}

export function auditGitDiffHunk(filePath: string, addedLines: readonly string[]): DiffHunkAudit {
  const blockingReasons: string[] = [];
  let riskScore = 0;

  for (const line of addedLines) {
    if (/dangerouslySetInnerHTML|evals*(/.test(line)) {
      riskScore += 50;
      blockingReasons.push('Unsafe execution sink detected in diff');
    }
    if (/catchs*([^)]*)s*{s*}/.test(line)) {
      riskScore += 40;
      blockingReasons.push('Silent empty catch block introduced');
    }
  }

  return { filePath, addedLines: [...addedLines], riskScore, blockingReasons };
}

Deskripsi

Konsep Inti & Pola Praktik

1. Protokol Self-Review 5-Pass

Lima pass berurutan: Sintaks (kompilasi/parse), Logika (edge case, async, state), Arsitektur (pola, konvensi, SRP), Keamanan (SQL injection, XSS, auth bypass), dan Performa (N+1, pagination, memory leak).

2. Klasifikasi Keparahan

P0 Blocker: perbaiki segera. P1 Critical: perbaiki sebelum ditampilkan.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Ai Code Review Autonomous AI skill do?

Autonomous AI code self-review: syntax, logic, security, and perf / Review mandiri kode AI: sintaks, logika, keamanan, dan performa.

Why use Ai Code Review Autonomous on TypingMind?

Because you install it once and use it with any model. Ai Code Review Autonomous is plain Markdown rather than provider-specific code, so the same skill runs on GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model — and you can switch model mid-chat without it breaking. TypingMind runs on your own API keys, so you pay providers directly instead of a per-seat subscription, and your skills and chats stay in your own storage.

How do I install Ai Code Review Autonomous in TypingMind?

Open Plugins → Skills → Install from GitHub in TypingMind and paste https://github.com/roedyrustam/vibes-plug/tree/main/skills/ai-code-review-autonomous. TypingMind reads its SKILL.md and installs it as a skill you can enable per chat.

Which AI models can use Ai Code Review Autonomous?

Any model you connect in TypingMind. AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and local models can all load this skill when a request matches it.

How many AI models can I use with Ai Code Review Autonomous?

As many as you like. As long as a model supports skills, you can use Ai Code Review Autonomous with it — GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama and more — all on TypingMind with your own API keys.

Is the Ai Code Review Autonomous AI skill free?

Yes. It is published on GitHub by roedyrustam under the MIT license. You only pay your own AI provider for the tokens you use.

What are AI skills?

An AI skill is a reusable instruction bundle that teaches an AI model how to do one specific task. It follows the open Agent Skills format: a SKILL.md file with a name and description, plus any scripts, templates or reference files the model may need. The model reads the instructions only when your request matches the skill, so an installed skill costs nothing until it is used.

How are AI skills different from plugins or MCP servers?

A plugin or MCP server gives a model new tools to call — code that runs somewhere and returns a result. An AI skill gives the model knowledge and process instead: how to approach a task, which steps to follow, what good output looks like. Skills are plain Markdown, so they need no server, no API key and no runtime, and they work with any model.
