  • Markdown instructions

A SKILL.md file the model loads on demand, so it only costs tokens when a request actually matches.

  • Works with any LLM

AI skills are plain Markdown, not provider-specific code, so this works with GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model.

  • Self-contained

Everything the model needs lives in the instructions — no extra files to sync.

  • Open source

Published by sepehr071 on GitHub. Read the source before you install it.

Installation

Install the Divar AI skill in TypingMind to use it with any LLM, or drop it into another agent that reads SKILL.md.

1

Install in TypingMind

TypingMind installs a skill straight from its GitHub folder — it reads SKILL.md, bundles the resource files, and stores the result locally.

  1. Open the app and go to Plugins → Skills.
  2. Choose "Install from GitHub".
  3. Paste the skill folder URL below and confirm.
    https://github.com/sepehr071/awesome-iran-mcp/tree/main/plugins/divar/skills/divar
  4. Enable the skill in any chat where you want it available.
Plugins → Skills → Add skill → From GitHub URL, then paste the folder URL and press Continue.
2

Install in another agent

Any agent that reads the Agent Skills format can use this skill — copy the folder into that agent's skills directory.

Claude Code — .claude/skills
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/sepehr071/awesome-iran-mcp.git /tmp/awesome-iran-mcp
mkdir -p .claude/skills
cp -r /tmp/awesome-iran-mcp/plugins/divar/skills/divar .claude/skills/divar
Restart Claude Code after copying so it picks up the new skill.

Use it in TypingMind

Enable Divar in any TypingMind chat and the model takes it from there. Its name and description sit in the system prompt, and the moment a request matches, the model loads the full instructions itself — you never invoke it by hand, and it costs no tokens until it is actually used.

The model loads Divar on its own as soon as a request matches it.

Works with any AI model

AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so Divar is not tied to the model it was written for. Install it once in TypingMind and use it with GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama, or a local model you run yourself — all on your own API keys.

  • Loaded only when it is needed

The system prompt carries just the name and description. The instructions are fetched on the first matching request, so an idle skill costs nothing.

  • Switch models mid-chat

Because the skill is instructions rather than code, changing model does not break it — the next model reads the same SKILL.md.

Skill instructions

This is the SKILL.md content the model loads. Read it before installing — a skill is instructions your model will follow.

Divar

Unofficial read-only Divar: search Iran's classified ads, cheapest and best-value ads, price checks.

The tools below come from the divar-mcp MCP server. If they are not available, install it with claude mcp add divar -- uvx divar-mcp, or add "divar": {"command": "uvx", "args": ["divar-mcp"]} to the client's MCP servers config. It needs uv. Restart the session after installing.

Tools

  • dv_categories: The Divar category tree (236 nodes, up to 4 levels): slug, Persian name, path and whether it is a leaf.
  • dv_filters: Every filter a category supports: key, type, Persian label, unit and the allowed options.
  • dv_filter_options: Allowed values of a filter: brand and model keys (161 car brands), districts, or any option list.
  • dv_suggest: What Divar's search box would suggest for some text, and which categories the text belongs to.
  • dv_parse_query: Turn a plain Persian request into dv_search arguments: city, neighbourhoods, price bounds, category and leftover words.
  • dv_market: Asking-price statistics of a search: min, p10, p25, median, p75, p90, max, mean; split by district and by day.
  • dv_appraise: Is an ad's price (or a price you have in mind) high or low compared with similar ads? Percentile, verdict, confidence.
  • dv_status: Is Divar reachable and how fast: version, a live latency check, caches and local watch state.
  • dv_cities: City ids for a name (1,177 cities; Tehran is 1, Mashhad 3). Returns id, name, URL slug, province id and centre.
  • dv_districts: Neighbourhoods (محله) of one city with ids, centre point and the main streets inside (Tehran has about 450).
  • dv_neighbours: Neighbourhoods adjacent to a district, to widen a neighbourhood search to the surrounding area.
  • dv_locate: The city, neighbourhood and street address of a GPS point.
  • dv_place_search: Map autocomplete: turn a landmark or street name into coordinates and a bounding box.
  • dv_place_mapping: Convert old Divar place ids to the current ones (Divar merged and renumbered places).
  • dv_boundary: Neighbourhood borders of a city from Divar's GeoJSON: the city's bounding box, or one neighbourhood's polygon.
  • dv_post: Everything public about one ad: price in Toman, specs, features, description, images, map position, seller type.
  • dv_posts: Details of up to 10 ads in one call (compact: specs and one image, description cut at 300 characters).
  • dv_compare: Side by side: the price of each ad and only the specs that differ (the identical ones are listed once).
  • dv_seller: The seller behind an ad: how many personal and business ads they have, the business card (name, brand_token) and their ads.
  • dv_dealer: A business account's public page: name, active ad count, member since and its first 11 ads.
  • dv_similar: Ads similar to one ad: same brand/model (or category) and neighbourhood, widening step by step until enough are found.
  • dv_search: Search Divar ads in one or more cities by category, text and filters; compact cards, prices in Toman.
  • dv_count: How many active ads match a search, in one cheap call (capped: 10,000 means '10,000 or more').
  • dv_cheapest: The cheapest ads of a search, cheapest first. Skips negotiable ads, placeholder or absurd prices and far-below-median outliers.
  • dv_best_for_budget: Within a budget: the best-value ads (furthest below their peers' median) and the most you can get (closest to the budget).
  • dv_find_deals: Ads priced well below the median of the same search, without a budget: scored deals, with bait and junk prices removed.
  • dv_new_since: Ads published after a moment, newest first: poll this to watch a search (a new flat, a cheap car) without repeats.
  • dv_export: The ads of a search as CSV or JSON lines text, ready to save to a spreadsheet or analyse.
  • dv_nearby: Ads on the map around a GPS point, nearest first, with coordinates, distance, price chips and a thumbnail.
  • dv_watch: Save a search and later get only the ads that appeared since the last check; stored in a local file, nothing is pushed.
  • dv_price_trend: The median asking price of a search over the days you have checked it: records one point per day in a local file.

Rules

  • Prices are Toman. Convert before comparing with a Rial figure from anywhere else.
  • Read-only: no login, basket, booking, order or payment. Give the user the link to finish on the site.
  • Keep request rates low. These are undocumented site APIs that can change or rate-limit.
  • On timeouts or HTTP 403 outside Iran, set DIVAR_MCP_PROXY to an HTTP proxy with an Iranian IP.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Divar AI skill do?

Unofficial read-only Divar: search Iran's classified ads, cheapest and best-value ads, price checks. Use when the user asks about Divar (divar.ir) or wants classified ads for homes, cars, phones and more in Iran.

Why use Divar on TypingMind?

Because you install it once and use it with any model. Divar is plain Markdown rather than provider-specific code, so the same skill runs on GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model — and you can switch model mid-chat without it breaking. TypingMind runs on your own API keys, so you pay providers directly instead of a per-seat subscription, and your skills and chats stay in your own storage.

How do I install Divar in TypingMind?

Open Plugins → Skills → Install from GitHub in TypingMind and paste https://github.com/sepehr071/awesome-iran-mcp/tree/main/plugins/divar/skills/divar. TypingMind reads its SKILL.md and installs it as a skill you can enable per chat.

Which AI models can use Divar?

Any model you connect in TypingMind. AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and local models can all load this skill when a request matches it.

How many AI models can I use with Divar?

As many as you like. As long as a model supports skills, you can use Divar with it — GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama and more — all on TypingMind with your own API keys.

Is the Divar AI skill free?

Yes. It is published on GitHub by sepehr071 under the MIT license. You only pay your own AI provider for the tokens you use.

What are AI skills?

An AI skill is a reusable instruction bundle that teaches an AI model how to do one specific task. It follows the open Agent Skills format: a SKILL.md file with a name and description, plus any scripts, templates or reference files the model may need. The model reads the instructions only when your request matches the skill, so an installed skill costs nothing until it is used.

How are AI skills different from plugins or MCP servers?

A plugin or MCP server gives a model new tools to call — code that runs somewhere and returns a result. An AI skill gives the model knowledge and process instead: how to approach a task, which steps to follow, what good output looks like. Skills are plain Markdown, so they need no server, no API key and no runtime, and they work with any model.
