  • Markdown instructions

A SKILL.md file the model loads on demand, so it only costs tokens when a request actually matches.

  • Works with any LLM

AI skills are plain Markdown, not provider-specific code, so this works with GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model.

  • Self-contained

Everything the model needs lives in the instructions — no extra files to sync.

  • Open source

Published by sepehr071 on GitHub. Read the source before you install it.

Installation

Install the Swapwallet AI skill in TypingMind to use it with any LLM, or drop it into another agent that reads SKILL.md.

1

Install in TypingMind

TypingMind installs a skill straight from its GitHub folder — it reads SKILL.md, bundles the resource files, and stores the result locally.

  1. Open the app and go to Plugins → Skills.
  2. Choose "Install from GitHub".
  3. Paste the skill folder URL below and confirm.
    https://github.com/sepehr071/awesome-iran-mcp/tree/main/plugins/swapwallet/skills/swapwallet
  4. Enable the skill in any chat where you want it available.
Plugins → Skills → Add skill → From GitHub URL, then paste the folder URL and press Continue.
2

Install in another agent

Any agent that reads the Agent Skills format can use this skill — copy the folder into that agent's skills directory.

Claude Code — .claude/skills
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/sepehr071/awesome-iran-mcp.git /tmp/awesome-iran-mcp
mkdir -p .claude/skills
cp -r /tmp/awesome-iran-mcp/plugins/swapwallet/skills/swapwallet .claude/skills/swapwallet
Restart Claude Code after copying so it picks up the new skill.

Use it in TypingMind

Enable Swapwallet in any TypingMind chat and the model takes it from there. Its name and description sit in the system prompt, and the moment a request matches, the model loads the full instructions itself — you never invoke it by hand, and it costs no tokens until it is actually used.

The model loads Swapwallet on its own as soon as a request matches it.

Works with any AI model

AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so Swapwallet is not tied to the model it was written for. Install it once in TypingMind and use it with GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama, or a local model you run yourself — all on your own API keys.

  • Loaded only when it is needed

The system prompt carries just the name and description. The instructions are fetched on the first matching request, so an idle skill costs nothing.

  • Switch models mid-chat

Because the skill is instructions rather than code, changing model does not break it — the next model reads the same SKILL.md.

Skill instructions

This is the SKILL.md content the model loads. Read it before installing — a skill is instructions your model will follow.

SwapWallet

Crypto wallet: balances, P&L, history. Swaps, transfers and withdrawals need Telegram approval.

SwapWallet is a custodial crypto exchange and wallet. Its MCP server (swapwallet) reads the user's own account and files money-moving requests that the user approves in Telegram.

The tools below come from SwapWallet's hosted MCP server at https://swapwallet.app/mcp (Streamable HTTP). If they are not available, add it to the client:

  • Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http swapwallet https://swapwallet.app/mcp
  • Codex CLI: codex mcp add swapwallet --url https://swapwallet.app/mcp
  • Gemini CLI: gemini mcp add --transport http swapwallet https://swapwallet.app/mcp
  • Cursor: "swapwallet": {"url": "https://swapwallet.app/mcp"} under mcpServers in ~/.cursor/mcp.json
  • VS Code: "swapwallet": {"type": "http", "url": "https://swapwallet.app/mcp"} under servers in .vscode/mcp.json
  • Windsurf: "swapwallet": {"serverUrl": "https://swapwallet.app/mcp"} under mcpServers in ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json
  • Claude Desktop and claude.ai: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, with the URL

Restart the session after installing. The user then signs in once with OAuth. The client runs the sign-in, not the agent, and Claude Code doesn't open the browser by itself: run /mcp, pick the server and choose Authenticate, or run claude mcp login <name> with the name claude mcp list shows (plugin:swapwallet:swapwallet when installed as a plugin). Codex: codex mcp login swapwallet. Gemini CLI: /mcp auth swapwallet. Other clients show a sign-in button or prompt.

Tools

  • get_total_balance: The user's total portfolio value plus a per-token breakdown of every non-zero holding.
  • get_balance: Balance and value of the given tokens only.
  • get_user_info: The user's profile, verification level and account settings.
  • get_deposit_address: The user's deposit address for a token on a network, creating one if needed.
  • get_profit_and_loss: Realized and unrealized profit and loss, for all assets or the given tokens.
  • get_transactions: Recent deposits, withdrawals, transfers and trades, newest first.
  • get_contacts: The user's saved SwapWallet contacts, ten per page.
  • get_ibans: The user's verified bank accounts, usable as a Rial withdrawal destination.
  • get_action_request: The current status of a request created by one of the request_* tools: PENDING while the user has not answered, then EXECUTED, REJECTED, EXPIRED or FAILED.
  • request_swap: Prices a swap between two tokens and sends it to the user's Telegram for approval.
  • request_transfer: Prepares a transfer to another SwapWallet user and sends it to the user's Telegram for approval.
  • request_crypto_withdraw: Prepares a crypto withdrawal and sends it to the user's Telegram for approval.
  • request_fiat_withdraw: Prepares a Rial (IRT) withdrawal to one of the user's verified IBANs and sends it to their Telegram for approval.

Reading the account

  • Call the tools for balances, prices, profit and loss and history; never answer from memory.
  • get_total_balance gives the whole portfolio; get_balance only the tokens you name.
  • Amounts are decimal strings. token and network are enums: use the exact values in the tool's input schema.

Moving money (request_* tools)

  • request_swap, request_transfer, request_crypto_withdraw and request_fiat_withdraw never move money themselves. Each one prices the action and sends it to the user's Telegram (the SwapWallet bot) with Approve and Cancel buttons, then returns at once with status PENDING.
  • Before calling one, confirm the amount, token, destination and (for crypto) the network with the user. A wrong network or address can lose funds.
  • After calling one, tell the user to open Telegram and approve or cancel it there, and that it expires in 15 minutes. Show the returned preview (amounts, fees, destination); do not invent prices or fees.
  • Never say a swap, transfer or withdrawal has happened until get_action_request reports EXECUTED. PENDING only means "waiting for the user in Telegram". The other outcomes are REJECTED, EXPIRED and FAILED (with a failureReason).
  • Transfers go only to the user's saved contacts (get_contacts); toman withdrawals only to a verified IBAN (get_ibans).

Known errors

  • MCP_TELEGRAM_NOT_LINKED: the account is not linked to Telegram, so no request can be approved. Ask the user to link it in the SwapWallet app.
  • MCP_TWO_FACTOR_ACTIVE: with two-factor authentication on, crypto withdrawals and transfers must be made in the app. Swaps and toman withdrawals still work.
  • A missing scope means the user did not grant it on the consent page; they can reconnect and grant it.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Swapwallet AI skill do?

Crypto wallet: balances, P&L, history. Swaps, transfers and withdrawals need Telegram approval. Use when the user asks about SwapWallet (swapwallet.app) or wants to check or use their own SwapWallet crypto wallet in Iran.

Why use Swapwallet on TypingMind?

Because you install it once and use it with any model. Swapwallet is plain Markdown rather than provider-specific code, so the same skill runs on GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model — and you can switch model mid-chat without it breaking. TypingMind runs on your own API keys, so you pay providers directly instead of a per-seat subscription, and your skills and chats stay in your own storage.

How do I install Swapwallet in TypingMind?

Open Plugins → Skills → Install from GitHub in TypingMind and paste https://github.com/sepehr071/awesome-iran-mcp/tree/main/plugins/swapwallet/skills/swapwallet. TypingMind reads its SKILL.md and installs it as a skill you can enable per chat.

Which AI models can use Swapwallet?

Any model you connect in TypingMind. AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and local models can all load this skill when a request matches it.

How many AI models can I use with Swapwallet?

As many as you like. As long as a model supports skills, you can use Swapwallet with it — GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama and more — all on TypingMind with your own API keys.

Is the Swapwallet AI skill free?

Yes. It is published on GitHub by sepehr071 under the MIT license. You only pay your own AI provider for the tokens you use.

What are AI skills?

An AI skill is a reusable instruction bundle that teaches an AI model how to do one specific task. It follows the open Agent Skills format: a SKILL.md file with a name and description, plus any scripts, templates or reference files the model may need. The model reads the instructions only when your request matches the skill, so an installed skill costs nothing until it is used.

How are AI skills different from plugins or MCP servers?

A plugin or MCP server gives a model new tools to call — code that runs somewhere and returns a result. An AI skill gives the model knowledge and process instead: how to approach a task, which steps to follow, what good output looks like. Skills are plain Markdown, so they need no server, no API key and no runtime, and they work with any model.
