  • Markdown instructions

A SKILL.md file the model loads on demand, so it only costs tokens when a request actually matches.

  • Works with any LLM

AI skills are plain Markdown, not provider-specific code, so this works with GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model.

  • Self-contained

Everything the model needs lives in the instructions — no extra files to sync.

  • Open source

Published by Softsync-Lab on GitHub. Read the source before you install it.

Installation

Install the Softsync Meetings AI skill in TypingMind to use it with any LLM, or drop it into another agent that reads SKILL.md.

1

Install in TypingMind

TypingMind installs a skill straight from its GitHub folder — it reads SKILL.md, bundles the resource files, and stores the result locally.

  1. Open the app and go to Plugins → Skills.
  2. Choose "Install from GitHub".
  3. Paste the skill folder URL below and confirm.
    https://github.com/Softsync-Lab/softsync-skills-hub/tree/main/skills/softsync-meetings
  4. Enable the skill in any chat where you want it available.
Plugins → Skills → Add skill → From GitHub URL, then paste the folder URL and press Continue.
2

Install in another agent

Any agent that reads the Agent Skills format can use this skill — copy the folder into that agent's skills directory.

Claude Code — .claude/skills
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/Softsync-Lab/softsync-skills-hub.git /tmp/softsync-skills-hub
mkdir -p .claude/skills
cp -r /tmp/softsync-skills-hub/skills/softsync-meetings .claude/skills/softsync-meetings
Restart Claude Code after copying so it picks up the new skill.

Use it in TypingMind

Enable Softsync Meetings in any TypingMind chat and the model takes it from there. Its name and description sit in the system prompt, and the moment a request matches, the model loads the full instructions itself — you never invoke it by hand, and it costs no tokens until it is actually used.

The model loads Softsync Meetings on its own as soon as a request matches it.

Works with any AI model

AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so Softsync Meetings is not tied to the model it was written for. Install it once in TypingMind and use it with GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama, or a local model you run yourself — all on your own API keys.

  • Loaded only when it is needed

The system prompt carries just the name and description. The instructions are fetched on the first matching request, so an idle skill costs nothing.

  • Switch models mid-chat

Because the skill is instructions rather than code, changing model does not break it — the next model reads the same SKILL.md.

Skill instructions

This is the SKILL.md content the model loads. Read it before installing — a skill is instructions your model will follow.

Meetings

Two different things live here: calendar events synced from Google and Outlook, and bookings made through the workspace's booking pages.

Calendar events

calendar_events with action list answers "what meetings do I have this week?", "when did we last meet Acme?" and "who was at the kickoff?".

  • A time window: from and to as ISO 8601 times. Use order: oldest_first for what is coming up, newest_first for the most recent.
  • About a company or contact: look it up with search_records, then pass its id as the recordId.
  • By words in the title or description: search.
  • Each event lists its attendees, the video link and the records it is linked to. get_message_by_id with the eventId returns everything. Recorded meeting summaries are not calendar events: a saved summary is a note on the company or contact.

To put something in your own calendar: calendar_events with action calendars on a connected mailbox, then manage_calendar_events with action create. Actions update and cancel change or call it off. Everyone invited is emailed each time.

Booking pages

A meeting type is a booking page guests use to book time with the team.

  1. meeting_types with action list: each type, its length and its public bookingUrl. Sharing that link is usually all a user needs.
  2. meeting_bookings with action find_slots: free times in a window of up to 31 days. For an event type, it returns sessions with seats left and their sessionId.
  3. meeting_types with action get: the questions a guest must answer.
  4. manage_meeting_bookings with action book: book for a guest with a free start and answers keyed by question label, e.g. {"Email": "ann@acme.com"}. Pass sessionId for an event. If an answer is missing, the error lists the questions.

Managing bookings

  • meeting_bookings with action list: booked meetings, soonest first, with the guest, the hosts and the video link.
  • manage_meeting_bookings with action reschedule: move a booking to a new start time; it keeps its length. Check the time with action find_slots first.
  • manage_meeting_bookings with action cancel: cancel and notify everyone. For an event session this cancels it for every guest.

Running booking pages (Admin)

  • manage_meeting_settings with action enable switches booking pages on for the workspace; meeting_settings with action hosts shows who can take bookings.
  • manage_meeting_types with action create, update, delete or new_link. An update replaces the hosts, questions and other lists you send, so read the type first.
  • The emails sent before a meeting: meeting_types with action reminders lists them, and manage_meeting_types with action create_reminder, update_reminder or delete_reminder changes them.
  • manage_meeting_bookings with action reassign hands a booking to another host; the guest gets a new invitation. Actions add_guests and remove_attendee change who comes.
  • manage_meeting_bookings with action create_session adds a date to an event type; action update changes how many places a session has.
  • Your own bookable hours and the calendar bookings land in: meeting_settings with action my_availability or shared_calendar reads them, and manage_meeting_settings with action set_my_availability or set_shared_calendar changes them. An Admin reads a teammate's hours with meeting_settings action host_availability and changes them with manage_meeting_settings action set_host_hours.

Rules

  • Booking, rescheduling and cancelling send invites and emails to real people. Say who, when and what, and wait for a clear yes.
  • An Admin can reschedule or cancel any booking; any other member only the bookings they host.
  • Give times in the user's time zone and say which zone you mean.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Softsync Meetings AI skill do?

Find calendar events, and manage booking pages: free times, bookings, booking a meeting for someone, rescheduling and cancelling. Use when the user asks when they meet someone, or wants to book, move or cancel a meeting.

Why use Softsync Meetings on TypingMind?

Because you install it once and use it with any model. Softsync Meetings is plain Markdown rather than provider-specific code, so the same skill runs on GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model — and you can switch model mid-chat without it breaking. TypingMind runs on your own API keys, so you pay providers directly instead of a per-seat subscription, and your skills and chats stay in your own storage.

How do I install Softsync Meetings in TypingMind?

Open Plugins → Skills → Install from GitHub in TypingMind and paste https://github.com/Softsync-Lab/softsync-skills-hub/tree/main/skills/softsync-meetings. TypingMind reads its SKILL.md and installs it as a skill you can enable per chat.

Which AI models can use Softsync Meetings?

Any model you connect in TypingMind. AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and local models can all load this skill when a request matches it.

How many AI models can I use with Softsync Meetings?

As many as you like. As long as a model supports skills, you can use Softsync Meetings with it — GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama and more — all on TypingMind with your own API keys.

Is the Softsync Meetings AI skill free?

Yes. It is published on GitHub by Softsync-Lab under the MIT license. You only pay your own AI provider for the tokens you use.

What are AI skills?

An AI skill is a reusable instruction bundle that teaches an AI model how to do one specific task. It follows the open Agent Skills format: a SKILL.md file with a name and description, plus any scripts, templates or reference files the model may need. The model reads the instructions only when your request matches the skill, so an installed skill costs nothing until it is used.

How are AI skills different from plugins or MCP servers?

A plugin or MCP server gives a model new tools to call — code that runs somewhere and returns a result. An AI skill gives the model knowledge and process instead: how to approach a task, which steps to follow, what good output looks like. Skills are plain Markdown, so they need no server, no API key and no runtime, and they work with any model.
