  • Markdown instructions

    A SKILL.md file the model loads on demand, so it only costs tokens when a request actually matches.

  • Works with any LLM

    AI skills are plain Markdown, not provider-specific code, so this works with GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model.

  • Self-contained

    Everything the model needs lives in the instructions — no extra files to sync.

  • Open source

    Published by UnderleveledBuilder on GitHub. Read the source before you install it.

Installation

Install the Short Drama Skill Finder AI skill in TypingMind to use it with any LLM, or drop it into another agent that reads SKILL.md.

1

Install in TypingMind

TypingMind installs a skill straight from its GitHub folder — it reads SKILL.md, bundles the resource files, and stores the result locally.

  1. Open the app and go to Plugins → Skills.
  2. Choose "Install from GitHub".
  3. Paste the skill folder URL below and confirm.
    https://github.com/UnderleveledBuilder/awesome-short-drama-skills/tree/main/skills/short-drama-skill-finder
  4. Enable the skill in any chat where you want it available.
Plugins → Skills → Add skill → From GitHub URL, then paste the folder URL and press Continue.

Install in another agent

Any agent that reads the Agent Skills format can use this skill — copy the folder into that agent's skills directory.

Claude Code — .claude/skills
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/UnderleveledBuilder/awesome-short-drama-skills.git /tmp/awesome-short-drama-skills
mkdir -p .claude/skills
cp -r /tmp/awesome-short-drama-skills/skills/short-drama-skill-finder .claude/skills/short-drama-skill-finder
Restart Claude Code after copying so it picks up the new skill.

Use it in TypingMind

Enable Short Drama Skill Finder in any TypingMind chat and the model takes it from there. Its name and description sit in the system prompt, and the moment a request matches, the model loads the full instructions itself — you never invoke it by hand, and it costs no tokens until it is actually used.

The model loads Short Drama Skill Finder on its own as soon as a request matches it.

Works with any AI model

AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so Short Drama Skill Finder is not tied to the model it was written for. Install it once in TypingMind and use it with GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama, or a local model you run yourself — all on your own API keys.

  • Loaded only when it is needed

    The system prompt carries just the name and description. The instructions are fetched on the first matching request, so an idle skill costs nothing.

  • Switch models mid-chat

    Because the skill is instructions rather than code, changing model does not break it — the next model reads the same SKILL.md.

Skill instructions

This is the SKILL.md content the model loads. Read it before installing — a skill is instructions your model will follow.

Short drama skill finder

Pick skills for an AI short drama project from the Awesome Short Drama Skills list (https://shortdramaskills.com). Every entry in the list was checked by hand and tagged by type, production stage, video model and supported agents.

1. Get the data

Fetch https://shortdramaskills.com/data.json. If that fails, read the same list from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/UnderleveledBuilder/awesome-short-drama-skills/main/README.md (English: README.en.md), which has the same entries without the structured fields.

data.json has updated, taxonomy (labels for types, stages and models in zh and en) and items. Each item has:

FieldMeaning
repo, githubGitHub repo
desc, overview, noteSummary, longer overview and editor's note, each with zh and en (note may be null)
pageDetail page on the site, zh and en
typepipeline all-in-one, writing, visual, source, craft, companion, platform (a full app, not a skill)
stagesmarket adaptation character structure drafting revision storyboard prompt production
modelsVideo models it targets, such as seedance kling minimax wan veo sora comfyui
agentsAgents the author says it supports; empty means not stated (most SKILL.md skills work in any agent that loads skills)
formatskill (standard SKILL.md) or prompt files
installInstall command when there is one, such as npx skills add owner/repo
languageMain output language
featured, checked, stars, pushed_at, license, archivedEditor's pick, date checked, GitHub stars, last push, license, archived flag

2. Understand the need

Work out, asking at most one short question if it is unclear:

  • the stage or stages they need help with (map their words to stages; "改编/小说转剧本" is adaptation, "钩子/付费卡点/集纲" is structure, "分镜" is storyboard, "提示词" is prompt, "出片/剪辑/配音" is production);
  • the video model, if any;
  • the agent they use;
  • whether they want one all-in-one pipeline or a few focused skills;
  • output language and any license constraint (for commercial use).

3. Choose

  • Drop archived items, and platform items unless the user wants a full app.
  • Keep items whose stages and models match. Prefer, in order: featured, a matching agent in agents, format = skill, recent pushed_at, a license that fits. Use stars only to break ties.
  • Recommend 3 to 5 items. For a full workflow, suggest one pipeline item, or one focused skill per stage.

4. Answer

Answer in the user's language, using the zh or en fields to match. For each pick give:

  • name, linked to github;
  • one sentence on why it fits, from desc, overview or note;
  • the install command, or "see the repo README" when there is none;
  • supported agents, license and last update;
  • the page link for details.

Then:

  • say the list was last updated on updated;
  • for script skills, point to the side-by-side tests at https://shortdramaskills.com/evals/;
  • remind the user that skills can ship scripts, so read a skill's SKILL.md before installing it. Do not run install commands without the user's go-ahead.

If nothing in the list fits, say so plainly instead of stretching a match.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Short Drama Skill Finder AI skill do?

Recommend AI short drama, micro drama and manju (漫剧) skills from a hand-checked list of 90+ projects, matched to the user's stage (novel adaptation, episode outlines and hooks, script writing, review, storyboards, character consistency, video prompts, production), video model (Seedance/即梦, Kling/可灵, MiniMax, Wan, Veo, Sora, ComfyUI) and agent (Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw/龙虾, Qwen, Doubao, WorkBuddy). Why use Short Drama Skill Finder on TypingMind?

Because you install it once and use it with any model. Short Drama Skill Finder is plain Markdown rather than provider-specific code, so the same skill runs on GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model — and you can switch model mid-chat without it breaking. TypingMind runs on your own API keys, so you pay providers directly instead of a per-seat subscription, and your skills and chats stay in your own storage.

How do I install Short Drama Skill Finder in TypingMind?

Open Plugins → Skills → Install from GitHub in TypingMind and paste https://github.com/UnderleveledBuilder/awesome-short-drama-skills/tree/main/skills/short-drama-skill-finder. TypingMind reads its SKILL.md and installs it as a skill you can enable per chat.

Which AI models can use Short Drama Skill Finder?

Any model you connect in TypingMind. AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and local models can all load this skill when a request matches it.

How many AI models can I use with Short Drama Skill Finder?

As many as you like. As long as a model supports skills, you can use Short Drama Skill Finder with it — GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama and more — all on TypingMind with your own API keys.

Is the Short Drama Skill Finder AI skill free?

Yes. It is published on GitHub by UnderleveledBuilder under the CC0-1.0 license. You only pay your own AI provider for the tokens you use.

What are AI skills?

An AI skill is a reusable instruction bundle that teaches an AI model how to do one specific task. It follows the open Agent Skills format: a SKILL.md file with a name and description, plus any scripts, templates or reference files the model may need. The model reads the instructions only when your request matches the skill, so an installed skill costs nothing until it is used.

How are AI skills different from plugins or MCP servers?

A plugin or MCP server gives a model new tools to call — code that runs somewhere and returns a result. An AI skill gives the model knowledge and process instead: how to approach a task, which steps to follow, what good output looks like. Skills are plain Markdown, so they need no server, no API key and no runtime, and they work with any model.
