  • Markdown instructions

A SKILL.md file the model loads on demand, so it only costs tokens when a request actually matches.

  • Works with any LLM

AI skills are plain Markdown, not provider-specific code, so this works with GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model.

  • 1 bundled files

Scripts, templates, and references the model can read while it works. Files are read-only and never executed.

  • Open source

Published by mia-ppp on GitHub. Read the source before you install it.

Installation

Install the Go To Market Strategy AI skill in TypingMind to use it with any LLM, or drop it into another agent that reads SKILL.md.

1

Install in TypingMind

TypingMind installs a skill straight from its GitHub folder — it reads SKILL.md, bundles the resource files, and stores the result locally.

  1. Open the app and go to Plugins → Skills.
  2. Choose "Install from GitHub".
  3. Paste the skill folder URL below and confirm.
    https://github.com/mia-ppp/PMM-Skills/tree/main/skills/go-to-market-strategy
  4. Enable the skill in any chat where you want it available.
Plugins → Skills → Add skill → From GitHub URL, then paste the folder URL and press Continue.
2

Install in another agent

Any agent that reads the Agent Skills format can use this skill — copy the folder into that agent's skills directory.

Claude Code — .claude/skills
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/mia-ppp/PMM-Skills.git /tmp/PMM-Skills
mkdir -p .claude/skills
cp -r /tmp/PMM-Skills/skills/go-to-market-strategy .claude/skills/go-to-market-strategy
Restart Claude Code after copying so it picks up the new skill.

Use it in TypingMind

Enable Go To Market Strategy in any TypingMind chat and the model takes it from there. Its name and description sit in the system prompt, and the moment a request matches, the model loads the full instructions itself — you never invoke it by hand, and it costs no tokens until it is actually used.

The model loads Go To Market Strategy on its own as soon as a request matches it.

Works with any AI model

AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so Go To Market Strategy is not tied to the model it was written for. Install it once in TypingMind and use it with GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama, or a local model you run yourself — all on your own API keys.

  • Loaded only when it is needed

The system prompt carries just the name and description. The instructions are fetched on the first matching request, so an idle skill costs nothing.

  • Switch models mid-chat

Because the skill is instructions rather than code, changing model does not break it — the next model reads the same SKILL.md.

Skill instructions

This is the SKILL.md content the model loads. Read it before installing — a skill is instructions your model will follow.

Go-to-Market Strategy

Approved context and evidence

Read ../_shared/evidence-gaps.md and ../_shared/ssot-consumption.md. Load only relevant approved manifest context and record sources in Inputs and assumptions. Read ../_shared/segment-selection.md when an audience decision is needed; inherit accepted segments and ICP.

  • For broad expansion or repositioning work, read ../_shared/opportunity-discovery.md. Treat the beachhead as a segment plus business use case, and consume a comparative opportunity decision before building the GTM route. A narrow, product-specific GTM request stays within its named scope. Separate sources, interpretation, and proposals. Missing evidence remains Assumed or Gap. Do not edit SSOT. Route proposed canon changes to ssot-context-loop for human review and approval.

Inputs and entry gate

Inventory accepted market decision (market-entry-brief), ICP/personas (icp-and-buyer-personas), positioning (positioning-strategy), messaging (messaging-framework), pricing/packaging (pricing-strategy) and relevant approved SSOT. Consume applicable customer-research/VoC, competitor-profiling, win-loss-intelligence and objection-intelligence findings with provenance, sample limits and confidence. Intelligence owners collect and synthesize; this skill decides proposed commercial implications. When an accepted input is absent, name the upstream owner and gap. A provisional option comparison is allowed with labeled assumptions; no invented accepted strategy or automatic canon replacement.

For broad expansion, propose the beachhead as an accepted segment plus a specific business use case. Do not treat a trigger, infrastructure requirement, or product feature as the use case, and do not select a new product without the comparative opportunity decision described in ../_shared/opportunity-discovery.md.

Workflow

  1. Frame the commercial decision. State horizon, accepted market and buyer, buying committee, purchase complexity, value realization, contract/economic context and company constraints. Preserve accepted inputs verbatim in an inheritance register.
  2. Compare viable GTM models. Evaluate sales-led, product-led, partner-led and hybrid against buyer buying behavior, product time-to-value, adoption friction, service/support needs, deal economics, sales capacity, partner value and evidence. Separate observed facts from modeled assumptions. Hybrid needs explicit segment/stage responsibilities, not a list of every channel.
  3. Propose route and priorities. Explain the chosen model and rejected alternatives. Define direct/indirect route, motion/channel priorities, eligibility, commercial constraints and where each motion hands off. Pricing remains with pricing-strategy; market selection stays with market-entry-brief.
  4. Sequence and assign. Stage motions by evidence, dependencies and capacity. Specify PMM, Sales, Product, CS, Partners, Marketing, RevOps and Finance responsibilities, decision rights and owners. Do not equate a launch date with the ongoing GTM model.
  5. Validate and revisit. Define testable commercial assumptions, baseline/gaps, decision thresholds with rationale, guardrails, owners and milestones. Set a strategy review cadence and triggers such as buying-behavior change, economics deterioration, activation barriers, partner dependency or evidence contradicting canon. Avoid invented certainty and benchmarks.
  6. Route briefs. Hand objectives, accepted audience, approved message/proof, motion role, dependencies, budget assumptions, success measures and learning needs to execution owners. Produce no final channel assets here.

Handoffs

Carry the persona source and intelligence supporting motion choices into execution briefs, preserving evidence and approval status.

  • Release-specific execution: launch-strategy; accepted new-market orchestration: market-entry-orchestration.
  • Account, event, partner, post-sale or product narrative programs: account-based-marketing, events, partner-marketing, customer-marketing, product-communications.
  • Seller, content and paid programs: sales-enablement, content-strategy, paid-ads.
  • Activation and free/trial-to-paid: product-activation, upgrade-conversion.
  • Measurement and commercial handoffs: analytics-tracking, revops; commercial assumptions/prices: pricing-strategy.

Conflict and approval

If evidence challenges accepted market, ICP, positioning, messaging, pricing or GTM strategy, show the exact conflict, impact and source limitations. Propose review through ssot-context-loop and the upstream decision owner. Do not choose newer evidence silently, change canonical files, set prices independently or produce execution against an unapproved strategic change. An accepted strategy may continue while review is pending only within its existing approvals and restrictions; flag affected plans and decision dependencies. Human approval is required before canonical strategic changes.

Required output

Inputs and assumptions; accepted-input inheritance register; decision/horizon; evidence and gaps; model/options comparison; recommended route and prioritized motions; commercial assumptions/constraints; sequencing; cross-functional responsibilities; validation plan; review cadence/reconsideration triggers; execution briefs/handoffs; canon conflicts/proposed reviews; ranked Evidence gaps. output-quality-check checks this decision artifact against these requirements. Market-facing assets undergo messaging-consistency-audit; launch readiness remains independent.

Optional ideation

Only after objective, accepted audience, strategy and constraints are established, consult ../_shared/tactic-library/guidance.md for candidate tactics. The owning motion skill evaluates each candidate.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Go To Market Strategy AI skill do?

Determine how to serve and win an accepted market over time. Use for GTM model, sales-led versus product-led versus partner-led or hybrid, route to market, motion priorities, responsibilities, validation and GTM strategy review. Market selection, prices, launches and final assets retain separate owners.

Why use Go To Market Strategy on TypingMind?

Because you install it once and use it with any model. Go To Market Strategy is plain Markdown rather than provider-specific code, so the same skill runs on GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model — and you can switch model mid-chat without it breaking. TypingMind runs on your own API keys, so you pay providers directly instead of a per-seat subscription, and your skills and chats stay in your own storage.

How do I install Go To Market Strategy in TypingMind?

Open Plugins → Skills → Install from GitHub in TypingMind and paste https://github.com/mia-ppp/PMM-Skills/tree/main/skills/go-to-market-strategy. TypingMind reads its SKILL.md and bundles its files and installs it as a skill you can enable per chat.

Which AI models can use Go To Market Strategy?

Any model you connect in TypingMind. AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and local models can all load this skill when a request matches it.

How many AI models can I use with Go To Market Strategy?

As many as you like. As long as a model supports skills, you can use Go To Market Strategy with it — GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama and more — all on TypingMind with your own API keys.

Is the Go To Market Strategy AI skill free?

Yes. It is published on GitHub by mia-ppp under the MIT license. You only pay your own AI provider for the tokens you use.

What are AI skills?

An AI skill is a reusable instruction bundle that teaches an AI model how to do one specific task. It follows the open Agent Skills format: a SKILL.md file with a name and description, plus any scripts, templates or reference files the model may need. The model reads the instructions only when your request matches the skill, so an installed skill costs nothing until it is used.

How are AI skills different from plugins or MCP servers?

A plugin or MCP server gives a model new tools to call — code that runs somewhere and returns a result. An AI skill gives the model knowledge and process instead: how to approach a task, which steps to follow, what good output looks like. Skills are plain Markdown, so they need no server, no API key and no runtime, and they work with any model.
