  • Markdown instructions

A SKILL.md file the model loads on demand, so it only costs tokens when a request actually matches.

  • Works with any LLM

AI skills are plain Markdown, not provider-specific code, so this works with GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model.

  • 5 bundled files

Scripts, templates, and references the model can read while it works. Files are read-only and never executed.

  • Open source

Published by SanbaoAI on GitHub. Read the source before you install it.

Installation

Install the Logo Colorway Generator AI skill in TypingMind to use it with any LLM, or drop it into another agent that reads SKILL.md.

1

Install in TypingMind

TypingMind installs a skill straight from its GitHub folder — it reads SKILL.md, bundles the resource files, and stores the result locally.

  1. Open the app and go to Plugins → Skills.
  2. Choose "Install from GitHub".
  3. Paste the skill folder URL below and confirm.
    https://github.com/SanbaoAI/logo-generator-skill/tree/main/skills/logo-colorway-generator
  4. Enable the skill in any chat where you want it available.
Plugins → Skills → Add skill → From GitHub URL, then paste the folder URL and press Continue.
2

Install in another agent

Any agent that reads the Agent Skills format can use this skill — copy the folder into that agent's skills directory.

Claude Code — .claude/skills
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/SanbaoAI/logo-generator-skill.git /tmp/logo-generator-skill
mkdir -p .claude/skills
cp -r /tmp/logo-generator-skill/skills/logo-colorway-generator .claude/skills/logo-colorway-generator
Restart Claude Code after copying so it picks up the new skill.

Use it in TypingMind

Enable Logo Colorway Generator in any TypingMind chat and the model takes it from there. Its name and description sit in the system prompt, and the moment a request matches, the model loads the full instructions itself — you never invoke it by hand, and it costs no tokens until it is actually used.

The model loads Logo Colorway Generator on its own as soon as a request matches it.

Works with any AI model

AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so Logo Colorway Generator is not tied to the model it was written for. Install it once in TypingMind and use it with GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama, or a local model you run yourself — all on your own API keys.

  • Loaded only when it is needed

The system prompt carries just the name and description. The instructions are fetched on the first matching request, so an idle skill costs nothing.

  • Switch models mid-chat

Because the skill is instructions rather than code, changing model does not break it — the next model reads the same SKILL.md.

Skill instructions

This is the SKILL.md content the model loads. Read it before installing — a skill is instructions your model will follow.

Logo Colorway Generator

Use this skill after a logo or brand-system board already exists. It adds color strategy, adaptive layout, and scenario applications while preserving the original symbol, wordmark, silhouette, and one-color usability. The default color direction should be memorable, broadly appealing, and practical in real use: create a signature color moment, adjust the board background/layout when useful, and show the logo in scenarios that prove it can work beyond a static brand manual.

Workflow

  1. Identify the source logo or board: brand name, existing symbol, wordmark, mascot/base route, current layout, and intended usage surfaces.
  2. Preserve logo invariants: do not redraw the mark, change the mascot feature, alter the wordmark spelling, change the core silhouette, or introduce a new concept unless explicitly requested.
  3. Extract the existing design system: monochrome behavior, grid style, typography mood, visual density, applications, mockups, and any existing accent color.
  4. Create 2-4 palette routes with clear impact levels. Each route should include signature color, primary, secondary, accent or contrast color, neutral background, dark/ink color, and one-color fallback.
  5. Choose the strongest palette route for the brand context and explain why it improves first-glance memorability while still fitting the audience, logo shape, mascot/source idea if any, and production surfaces.
  6. Choose a colorway layout mode. Prefer an adaptive scenario board unless the user asks to preserve the original board. Use background color, larger color fields, and practical scene modules to make the colorway feel usable and immediately understandable.
  7. Define scenario application rules: main logo, favicon/app icon, lockup, social/avatar, packaging or product surface, digital interface or cover, merch/signage, black/ivory fallback, and small-size use.
  8. Generate platform-ready recolor prompts. If the user provides an image, treat it as the edit target or reference according to the request. Preserve the logo structure, but allow the surrounding board layout, background color, and scene modules to change for stronger applicability.
  9. If the user asks to "generate", "render", "create an image", "出图", "直接生成", "recolor", "改色", or sets render_image: true, use the strongest GPT Image or Universal prompt to call the imagegen skill/tool or another available image-generation tool. Generate one polished scenario colorway board unless the user asks for variants.
  10. If image generation is requested but no image-generation tool is available, return the colorway package and clearly identify the final prompt to paste into an image model.
  11. If revision_notes are provided, preserve the useful parts of the prior palette/layout and revise only the requested aspects.

Output

Return these sections:

  • Existing Logo Read
  • Palette Routes
  • Chosen Color System
  • First-Glance Impact
  • Scenario Layout Strategy
  • Color Application Rules
  • Colorway Board Layout
  • Final Recolor Prompts
  • Generated Colorway, only when direct image generation is requested and available

Read prompt.md for detailed color constraints, anti-patterns, and output templates.

Bundled files

The model reads these on demand while the skill is loaded. They are exposed as readable files and are never executed.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Logo Colorway Generator AI skill do?

Add memorable color systems, adaptive layouts, scenario boards, and colorway prompts to existing logos, generated brand-system boards, mascot logos, base logos, app icons, wordmark lockups, seals, and identity sheets without changing the underlying symbol. Use when the user asks to add colors, recolor, create palettes, generate colorways, make color applications, increase first-glance impact, improve broad audience appeal, change the colorway board background/layout, or enhance a previously generated logo with brand colors.

Why use Logo Colorway Generator on TypingMind?

Because you install it once and use it with any model. Logo Colorway Generator is plain Markdown rather than provider-specific code, so the same skill runs on GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model — and you can switch model mid-chat without it breaking. TypingMind runs on your own API keys, so you pay providers directly instead of a per-seat subscription, and your skills and chats stay in your own storage.

How do I install Logo Colorway Generator in TypingMind?

Open Plugins → Skills → Install from GitHub in TypingMind and paste https://github.com/SanbaoAI/logo-generator-skill/tree/main/skills/logo-colorway-generator. TypingMind reads its SKILL.md and bundles its files and installs it as a skill you can enable per chat.

Which AI models can use Logo Colorway Generator?

Any model you connect in TypingMind. AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and local models can all load this skill when a request matches it.

How many AI models can I use with Logo Colorway Generator?

As many as you like. As long as a model supports skills, you can use Logo Colorway Generator with it — GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama and more — all on TypingMind with your own API keys.

Is the Logo Colorway Generator AI skill free?

Yes. It is published on GitHub by SanbaoAI under the MIT license. You only pay your own AI provider for the tokens you use.

What are AI skills?

An AI skill is a reusable instruction bundle that teaches an AI model how to do one specific task. It follows the open Agent Skills format: a SKILL.md file with a name and description, plus any scripts, templates or reference files the model may need. The model reads the instructions only when your request matches the skill, so an installed skill costs nothing until it is used.

How are AI skills different from plugins or MCP servers?

A plugin or MCP server gives a model new tools to call — code that runs somewhere and returns a result. An AI skill gives the model knowledge and process instead: how to approach a task, which steps to follow, what good output looks like. Skills are plain Markdown, so they need no server, no API key and no runtime, and they work with any model.
