  • Markdown instructions

A SKILL.md file the model loads on demand, so it only costs tokens when a request actually matches.

  • Works with any LLM

AI skills are plain Markdown, not provider-specific code, so this works with GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model.

  • 1 bundled files

Scripts, templates, and references the model can read while it works. Files are read-only and never executed.

  • Open source

Published by mia-ppp on GitHub. Read the source before you install it.

Installation

Install the Win Loss Intelligence AI skill in TypingMind to use it with any LLM, or drop it into another agent that reads SKILL.md.

1

Install in TypingMind

TypingMind installs a skill straight from its GitHub folder — it reads SKILL.md, bundles the resource files, and stores the result locally.

  1. Open the app and go to Plugins → Skills.
  2. Choose "Install from GitHub".
  3. Paste the skill folder URL below and confirm.
    https://github.com/mia-ppp/PMM-Skills/tree/main/skills/win-loss-intelligence
  4. Enable the skill in any chat where you want it available.
Plugins → Skills → Add skill → From GitHub URL, then paste the folder URL and press Continue.
2

Install in another agent

Any agent that reads the Agent Skills format can use this skill — copy the folder into that agent's skills directory.

Claude Code — .claude/skills
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/mia-ppp/PMM-Skills.git /tmp/PMM-Skills
mkdir -p .claude/skills
cp -r /tmp/PMM-Skills/skills/win-loss-intelligence .claude/skills/win-loss-intelligence
Restart Claude Code after copying so it picks up the new skill.

Use it in TypingMind

Enable Win Loss Intelligence in any TypingMind chat and the model takes it from there. Its name and description sit in the system prompt, and the moment a request matches, the model loads the full instructions itself — you never invoke it by hand, and it costs no tokens until it is actually used.

The model loads Win Loss Intelligence on its own as soon as a request matches it.

Works with any AI model

AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so Win Loss Intelligence is not tied to the model it was written for. Install it once in TypingMind and use it with GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama, or a local model you run yourself — all on your own API keys.

  • Loaded only when it is needed

The system prompt carries just the name and description. The instructions are fetched on the first matching request, so an idle skill costs nothing.

  • Switch models mid-chat

Because the skill is instructions rather than code, changing model does not break it — the next model reads the same SKILL.md.

Skill instructions

This is the SKILL.md content the model loads. Read it before installing — a skill is instructions your model will follow.

Win/Loss Intelligence

Explain why the company wins or loses, for whom, against what alternatives, under which conditions, and what the evidence suggests should be reviewed. Produce evidence and implications, not revised positioning or sales copy.

Context research handoffs

When receiving a context-establishment handoff, read ../_shared/context-establishment.md. Reuse its question, scope, source/finding IDs, approved context/version, GAP IDs and completion criteria. Analyze only your owned domain; return provenance-bearing findings, opposing evidence, limitations, completion status and unapproved implications to product-marketing-context. Use decision-specific evidence readiness; approval is separate. A hold affects only its decision. Do not write canon or automatically save chained results into bootstrap context. Standalone artifacts retain their existing format and may attach the shared return. Preserve IDs and status without duplicating studies.

Before analysis

  • Read ../_shared/evidence-gaps.md, ../_shared/ssot-consumption.md, and ../_shared/segment-selection.md when comparing segments.
  • Use applicable SSOT as a comparison point, never as a file to edit. Record relevant canon version/files and route contradictions through ssot-context-loop for human review.
  • Inventory available closed-won/lost interviews, CRM reason codes, calls, AE notes, opportunity data, competitor evidence, and research. Record date range, inclusion rules, counts, missingness, and known selection bias.
  • Distinguish buyer-reported reason, seller-reported reason, directly observed evidence, and inferred hypothesis. CRM loss codes are seller-entered signals, not buyer truth.

Analysis

  1. Define the question, cohort, and denominator. Separate closed outcomes from open or disqualified opportunities.
  2. Code supported themes across segment, persona, company size, use case, competitor/alternative, deal size, funnel stage, geography, capability, price, implementation, integration, security/compliance, procurement, timing, and status quo. Leave unsupported dimensions unscored.
  3. Separate frequency, severity/materiality, and confidence. Show counts and denominators where available. A small or biased sample cannot establish a rate or broad pattern.
  4. Identify win/loss drivers, competitor and segment patterns, product, positioning, messaging, proof, pricing/packaging, sales-process issues, false assumptions, and unresolved questions only where evidence supports them. Do not classify every loss as competitive.
  5. Include representative source-linked evidence. Use verbatim quotes only when present in actual source material. Preserve conflicting reports.
  6. Route implications to the owner. Do not automatically rewrite any artifact.

Required output

  1. Inputs and assumptions, using shared evidence labels.
  2. Executive summary and analysis question.
  3. Evidence base: sample, outcome counts, period, sources, exclusions, bias, and limitations.
  4. Win themes and loss themes, each with frequency, severity, confidence, and representative evidence where available.
  5. Supported breakdowns by relevant segment/persona/alternative/stage.
  6. Implications and handoffs, with unresolved questions and ranked evidence gaps. Suggested routes: Voice of Customer to customer-research, recurring objections to objection-intelligence, competitive evidence to competitor-profiling, positioning to positioning-strategy, messaging to messaging-framework, proof gaps to the evidence owner, price to pricing-strategy, and sales process to sales-enablement or revops.

Safety and quality checks

  • Never invent reasons, quotes, counts, rates, outcomes, or competitor claims.
  • Mark missing buyer evidence as Gap; never promote seller interpretation to customer truth. Keep Sourced / Assumed / Gap labels; identify derivations as interpretation with formulas/source inputs, not a fourth label.
  • Do not imply causality from association or attribute a win/loss to one factor when evidence supports multiple conditions.
  • New findings may request SSOT review. Only ssot-context-loop manages canonical changes and required human approval.
  • Internal analysis normally does not go to messaging-consistency-audit.
  • Output quality: output-quality-check can verify cohort/denominators, source/report type, frequency/severity/confidence separation, quotes, limitations, supported breakdowns, explicit handoffs, and no silent canon change.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Win Loss Intelligence AI skill do?

When the user wants to understand why opportunities are won or lost, analyze closed-won or closed-lost evidence, or find segment and competitor patterns. Use for win/loss synthesis and route resulting decisions to strategy owners; for sales collateral, see sales-enablement, and for research design, see customer-research.

Why use Win Loss Intelligence on TypingMind?

Because you install it once and use it with any model. Win Loss Intelligence is plain Markdown rather than provider-specific code, so the same skill runs on GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or a local model — and you can switch model mid-chat without it breaking. TypingMind runs on your own API keys, so you pay providers directly instead of a per-seat subscription, and your skills and chats stay in your own storage.

How do I install Win Loss Intelligence in TypingMind?

Open Plugins → Skills → Install from GitHub in TypingMind and paste https://github.com/mia-ppp/PMM-Skills/tree/main/skills/win-loss-intelligence. TypingMind reads its SKILL.md and bundles its files and installs it as a skill you can enable per chat.

Which AI models can use Win Loss Intelligence?

Any model you connect in TypingMind. AI skills are plain Markdown instructions rather than provider-specific code, so GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and local models can all load this skill when a request matches it.

How many AI models can I use with Win Loss Intelligence?

As many as you like. As long as a model supports skills, you can use Win Loss Intelligence with it — GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Llama and more — all on TypingMind with your own API keys.

Is the Win Loss Intelligence AI skill free?

Yes. It is published on GitHub by mia-ppp under the MIT license. You only pay your own AI provider for the tokens you use.

What are AI skills?

An AI skill is a reusable instruction bundle that teaches an AI model how to do one specific task. It follows the open Agent Skills format: a SKILL.md file with a name and description, plus any scripts, templates or reference files the model may need. The model reads the instructions only when your request matches the skill, so an installed skill costs nothing until it is used.

How are AI skills different from plugins or MCP servers?

A plugin or MCP server gives a model new tools to call — code that runs somewhere and returns a result. An AI skill gives the model knowledge and process instead: how to approach a task, which steps to follow, what good output looks like. Skills are plain Markdown, so they need no server, no API key and no runtime, and they work with any model.
